Instilling Identity

Updated: Aug 13, 2018

Upon the release of my new book "Princesses With Purpose" I'm excited to release my

first conversation with full time Mother, Sonia Bruzzi about instilling identity into her daughter by navigating emotions and engaging with strangers with no fear but discernment.

"If I'm at home with my kids, Im valuable.  If I'm working Im valuable. If I'm doing something else, Im valuable. It doesn't matter what I do, Its who I am in Christ."-Sonia Bruzzi

So honored to share some time with Sue Martinsen and gaining some practical wisdom on instilling identity.  Take a few minutes to listen into he conversation we had about empowering our children to being the leaders they are called to be.

"It's in the little moments...you take that moment when a child feels small, meet them in that moment, validate their feeling but at the same time say "We don't need to stay here...."-Sue Martinsen

"I want her to be the best version of herself...  She is only called to be herself and its a disservice if she tries to be anyone other than that, for herself, for us, for the the world and I feel that way for all women and all people but especially women I think that tact is a little heavier on them starting with little girls."-Lydia Nandakumaran

So excited to let you in on this beautiful time I had with mother extraordinaire, Lydia Nandakumaran who not only is raising up a world leader but also opening up the doors for other children to get a wonderful education this fall with a Montessori school her and her husband are opening in Sierra Madre called Bridge Montessori Preschool.  For every child enrolled sponsors a kid in Egypt's garbage district with hopes to expand!

"...in a hard moment, Me being able to love her and me being able to call her to her highest rather than shame her."-Camryn Anderson

Time is valuable as a mother in any stage of motherhood. I'm so thankful to have spent some time with the ever vibrant Mama, Camryn Anderson on sharing her experiences and advice she was able weave into her story of motherhood. Take some time and listen into our conversation on instilling identity into our children.

So thankful to have had some time to sit down with the ever lively and encouraging, Liz Hill. Check out our convo on instilling identity in her daughter on my last episode on youtube!

"I was bullied as a child pretty harshly...I was in unhealthy relationships and when abuse happened to me, standing on God's love for me helped me through those times....What God thinks of her (my daughter) that she is loved by Him, even more than I can love her!"-Liz Hill
