As I head into the end of 2016, I'm looking to replace sugar more and more with natural sweeteners like the ever sticky date. Dates are loaded with minerals and fiber, why wouldn't you use this more instead?

Ingredients:
10 pitted dates (if they're not sticky and mushy, soak in water for a half hour)
1 1/2 cup filtered water
1 vanilla bean caviar
Blend (drained) dates and vanilla. Pour into an air tight jar and keep in the fridge up to 2 weeks.
