Under Trial

"Blessed is the man who remains steadfast under trial, for when he has stood the test he will receive the crown of life, which God has promised to those who love him..."  Following Christ is not for the faint of heart.  Trials come in all sizes and shapes from physical, mental, emotional and spiritual.  Christ said, "If the world hates you, you know that it has hated Me before it hated you. "If you were of the world, the world would love its own; but because you are not of the world, but I chose you out of the world, because of this the world hates you.…" I am reminded of this every time I go through serious trials and then look at the larger picture and those who don't see a meal for several days or those who are ripped from their families, whose innocence was stolen from them.  Perspective, wisdom and understanding can change your outlook quickly if your desires are set on God's desires.  Our trials are there to help us grow and learn to love better.
